As a mama of two, I can confidently say I did not always feel ‘glowing’ during my pregnancies, but I will always cherish the maternity photos we took. The knowing smile between you and your partner, the tender tummy rub from big brother or sister; these are the small moments I live to celebrate through the lens of my camera.

I offer in-home newborn sessions with a mix of studio and lifestyle portraits for clients in the Central Connecticut area, so you don’t have to lift a finger. I’ll show up with your fav Starbs drink in hand for a casual experience in your home environment—perfect for partners who may need to hop on a work call or discerning toddlers who need a blueberry snack break.

I recommend between 28 and 32 weeks. Any more than that and mom might be too uncomfortable. Any less and mom's bump might not be popping out enough yet. Please don't fret about your bump size, I will pose you in the most flattering ways!

It depends on a number of factors like light and location. We will discuss your options during our session planning call or via email.
For my newborns, I aim for 7-21 days after birth (ideally under 14 days) but I've photographed newborns as old as 2 months old. All that’s important is that you document these moments!

I have found that newborns tend to do better in the morning, but we will discuss your options during our session planning call or via email.
My newborn sessions are held at clients' homes. Please don't worry about the state of your home—I've been there and I get it! I don't ever expect a completely clean house to make the magic happen. All I need is one room with great light. However, if you prefer a studio session, I do have access to one in Avon or Hartford, Connecticut.
